BEAUTY.....what is Beauty?

BEAUTY:
Beauty is that which we possess deep inside. However, I believe that true beauty comes from God. I am saved by GRACE - that is Beautiful. And with that Grace and beauty comes a certain responsibility to let that beauty be seen by all. It makes me ashamed to see Christians, saved by the loving, free GRACE of the Father, carry around hostility and ugliness for all the world to see. We all began as ugly ducklings, so to speak. God's free gift of GRACE allows us to become BEAUTIFUL. Yet so many do not show the world that beauty.

John 13:35 -
"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

If we, the disciples of Christ, cannot show our love for one another, then how or why will the rest of the world take notice?? I tell you, what they WILL notice - what they DO notice - is our hypocrisy and they will run away. No wonder we are called hypocrites. We act as if we believe we are an elite class of peoples, each of us thumbing our noses to those who don't look and act like us; as if we feel we are empowered, somehow. HOW VERY ASHAMED WE SHOULD BE!!

We are called to love and to show our love for one another....not just those who are like us; not just those who are part of the Christian sect. We are called to show our love and God's love to the world.

We are called to be.....BEAUTIFUL!!
